Obituary

Henry Mead Herrick (1941 – 2017)

A message from the Wing Commander Col Kevin Harbison

March 28, 2017 – Lt Col Mead Herrick passed away tonight at 5:30 after a year long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family. Mead had been with the Civil Air Patrol since he joined as a cadet in May of 1956. Through those years he had seen many changes to our organization. Through it all he had given selflessly to his wing and the State of New Hampshire. He had been a continual and important fixture in New Hampshire emergency services. He was a person of great integrity who could always be relied on to get things done well. Most importantly, he was a great friend and comrade to those of us who had the honor work beside and to have known him. He will be greatly missed.
