Join the Mt. Washington Composite Squadron for a fun single day course in the north country, building skills, developing teamwork, and sharing in the CAP mission. We will meet at KHIE, the Mt. Washington Regional Airport, 5 Airport Rd. in Whitefield, NH again this year on 31JAN2026, saturday at 0900 to form up and break into squadrons to cycle through a full day program of training stations. 

This 'hands-on' experience practices the fundamentals of winter survival.

Cadet leadership opportunities exist for previous program graduates, inquire with WSS c/Commander, Major Penney and his staff 

We will have a robust communications component to complete ICUT qualification, candidates must complete the on-line training through absorb LMS prior to WSS'26 course date. 

Senior members will have the opportunity to complete ground team tasks in small focused sessions apart from the winter survival skills. 

Attending squadrons are welcome to bring a hot crock pot luck lunch to share in the admin building. 

Advanced winter survival skills teams are welcome to register and demonstrate their ability to put all the skills into practice for evaluation by the WSS staff.
