2017 Wreaths Across America
Hundreds gathered at the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH to place wreaths on the graves of our Interned Veterans.
A ceremony was conducted at the cemetery Chapel honoring these brave men and women who served in all branches of our armed services. A wreath was laid for each branch of service, Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines.
Hosting the event was the Commander of the New Hampshire Wing of the Civil Air Patrol Colonel, Kevin Harbison. There was standing room only and with many young people as well as residents from New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The ceremony being one of if not the largest attended in many years. The Civil Air Patrol Color Guard posting the colors, with the wreath laying following. With comments honoring our veterans by Senator Maggie Hassan, Colonel Bill Conway, New Hampshire Army National Guard, Chief of Staff and a letter from Governor Sununu read by Rep. Michael Moffett, with many other representatives of our State Government in attendance.
